The tedee door sensor adds compact door status detection to the smart, compatible tedee smart locks. It precisely detects whether a door is open or closed and transmits this status to the lock via Bluetooth – for more security and optimized smart access control in everyday life.
With a minimalist look, the two elements fit seamlessly into any home environment: a sensor and a magnet. They are attached to the inside of the door leaf and the door frame using the integrated adhesive surfaces. When the sensor and magnet are in contact, the door is considered closed – the smart door lock can lock automatically. If the door is open, the locking process remains deactivated.
