The FEPS Gear Gearbox Housing SI-FAV is the central component of a window fitting system, located directly behind the window handle. Without this essential unit—also known as the window gearbox or drive housing—a window sash cannot be opened, closed, or tilted.
Inside the housing, a gear wheel transfers the rotational movement of the window handle (90° or 180°) to the surrounding drive rods, which operate the window’s tilt-and-turn mechanism.
The FEPS Gear housing consists of two precisely cast zinc die-cast halves, firmly screwed together for stability and easy installation. The robust construction ensures long-lasting performance and smooth operation.
