Measurements WITHOUT SAMPLE PREPARATION. The basis of dimensional measurements, is a good sample preparation. Especially very small, thin walled and soft parts (for example micro extrusion), are not measurable with this technology. The sample preparation required would strongly deform the cut edge and the associated dimensional structure of the profile. Consequence: the measurement result is unusable.
