MENKE KUNSTSTOFFE GmbH & Co. KG is today one of the leading companies in the production of plastic profiles for the window and roller shutter industry.
The company was founded on November 1, 1969 by Alfred Menke as a sole proprietorship. A short time later, it was entered into the commercial register under the name MENKE KUNSTSTOFFE GmbH & Co. KG - as a purely family business - which it still is today.
The first roller shutter slats were produced and assembled with 25 employees and on 3 extrusion systems. In 1976, the Menke company brought its own window system onto the market.
