MACO is a quality manufacturer of building hardware for window, door and sliding doors and has made a name for itself in the field of mechanical burglary protection.

With the acquisition of the German company Hautau GmbH, the MACO Group has further expanded its expertise in hardware solutions for sliding elements and window automation. As a full-range supplier, the portfolio includes fanlight openers, pivoting sashes, motorized drives, access control solutions, smoke and heat extraction systems, ventilation controls and smart building applications.

Rounded off with precisely fitting seals and prefabricated floor thresholds, dealers and MACO fabricators receive everything for their windows and doors to close the building envelope - efficiently, sustainably, safely: everything from a single source.

Production takes place in three Austrian production plants and in Helpsen, Germany. Two further assembly plants, 16 international sales offices and sales representatives spread around the globe make MACO the world market leader and international player.

Founded in 1947, the family business is now owned by the third generation of the Mayer family from Salzburg. They uphold the values and provide the framework for MACO to be and remain a strong, competitive partner for its customers.
