DEKLICK: Invisible clamping connector for decorative coverings Many features for even more individuality
For those who want to securely fasten acoustic panels, wall and ceiling coverings, or decorative walls invisibly, the Knapp Clamping Connector DEKLICK provides the ideal solution.
Numerous features expand the possibilities: a screw clamp, connectable blocks, optional extension options, and special milling cutters for milling the block strips.
DEKLICK is based on a block or a specially milled block strip, along with a clamp as its counterpart. The lamella clamp is simply clipped on, engages in two stages, and is fixed in the predetermined position thanks to a groove in the block or the block strip.
More flexibility – the screw does it
The newly designed screw clamp with perforations can be directly screwed onto the components with a EURO screw or in a 32 mm grid. This allows for precise yet flexible positioning and does not require a groove as a reference point. If this screwable clamp is mounted discreetly, it complies with increased fire safety regulations, thus expanding the range of applications for the clamping connector.
The block strip connection allows for vertical and horizontal processing directly on the wall. An optionally included milling head now allows the strip to be milled on-site and adjusted to the desired attachment points during operation.
More distance – here's how it works
To variably change the distances between the decorative element to be fastened and the raw ceiling or wall, Knapp has made the DEKLICK block connectable: Simply join two blocks together, screw them together with 4 mm SK screws, and the airspace between the covering and the attachment point is doubled.
Furthermore, the block can now be combined with a height-adjustable spacer, allowing the hanging height of the ceiling covering to be individually altered. This makes DEKLICK perfect for acoustic ceilings whose structure needs to be tailored to individual sound values.
DEKLICK can be used both outdoors, e.g., for facades, and furniture and interior construction. Thanks to its two-part structure, the clamping connector can be preassembled during operation and is optimal for industrial manufacturing processes. On-site, the panels, plates, or profile strips and decorative strips to be fastened only need to be attached or screwed on.
