The Münchinger group of companies is a leading distributor of top-grade glued window scantlings, laminated posts, modified timber and timber materials for exterior applications.

For more than 50 years, the group has been a well-established player in the international trade of top-grade wood and an important partner for the windows, doors and facade sectors.

The headquarters with the administration and the trade department (approx. 40 employees) is situated in the German Oetisheim, a small town in the Stuttgart region.

Every year, approximately 80,000 cbm of wood originating from places all over the world are distributed worldwide.

The name 'Münchinger' stands for quality and first-class service 'Made in Germany'.

The company-own factory in Leutershausen, a town in the Nuremberg region, is one of the most modern processing facilities in Europe.

On premises of 150,000 sqm, with a production area of 15.000 sqm and a roofed warehouse area of approximately 50,000 sqm, all processing steps for the manufacturing of top-grade window scantlings are united on a single site.

Our high and in many aspects leading production standards do not only provide for intelligent solutions and a wide product range, they also ensure the best possible price-performance ratio.

It goes without saying that our production processes in the Leutershausen factory are certified in accordance with the currently applicable FSC®, ift and PEFC™ codes of practice.

Our ability to deliver flexibly and just in time is backed up by a permanent stock of about 30,000 cbm wood material and a well-sorted order-picking warehouse.

For the technical drying of the wood, six high-performance dry kilns with a capacity of all in all 1,200 cbm are available. The heating energy required to operate the dry kilns and to heat the warehouses is generated in a heating system supplied with waste wood.

Waste wood from production is processed to high-grade BULLY® wood briquettes in a fully automatic briquetting plant with a robot and three presses. We produce about 8,000 tons of briquettes per year on this plant.

The state-of-the-art production facilities in the Leutershausen factory provide for high throughput speed, precision, efficiency and a permanently high production quality.
