Personal networking? A sure thing!
We are looking forward to welcome you again personally at NürnbergMesse. Our absolute priority is to ensure that our exhibitors, guest organisers, partners and visitors experience professional and successful trade fairs – while at the same time being safe and secure. NürnbergMesse is in close contact with the responsible authorities and ministries in this regard and continuously adapts its viable hygiene concept to the latest requirements.
We implement all measures with the greatest care, including extended hygiene standards, social distancing, and ensuring the traceability of contacts. Our goal is to create an environment for you where you can feel good about networking and business taking place again – from person to person.
According to the current (epidemiological) development, we assume that there may be changes in the protective measures. We keep ourselves up-to-date for you – our customers – and inform you continuously about the applicable regulations on this website.
1. Safe together
Important: Please observe a social distancing of 1.5 m between people in all areas of the exhibition grounds. We will ensure that your participation in the trade fair is safe - from the individual planning of the entrance situation and the enlargement of areas to optimised entrance and exit management for the exhibition grounds. In the forum and conference area, for example, we have adjusted the seating accordingly. The digital signage system, floor markings, and notices also serve as reminders to observe social distancing guidelines.
|
In general, all persons over the age of seven are required to wear masks in the interior spaces of the exhibition venue. The best way to implement this measure is by wearing an everyday mask or, alternatively, with densely woven cloths or scarves that completely cover the mouth and nose.
Face coverings can be removed at exhibition stand tables providing that a minimum distance of 1.5 m can be safely maintained – and assuming that the incidence of infection remains low.
In outdoor areas, it is mandatory to wear face coverings whenever minimum social distancing measures cannot be maintained. Please always carry a mask with you.
If you forget or lose your mask, a supply of standardised face coverings is available at central locations on the exhibition grounds.
We will continuously check whether and to what extent it is necessary to wear a face covering.
|
We strongly recommend frequent and thorough hand washing. Hand washing and sanitizing facilities designed with social distancing in mind are available for you.
|
We kindly ask you to follow the usual etiquette regarding sneezing and coughing.
|
Only visit the NürnbergMesse exhibition grounds if you are in good health. Unfortunately, you may not visit a trade fair if you have been in contact with anyone infected with SARS-CoV-2 within the past 14 days or if you have symptoms of a respiratory tract infection or have an elevated temperature.
If you have symptoms typical of COVID-19 during your visit to the exhibition venue, please leave the exhibition grounds.
|
2. Service for Safety
Ticket sales and the voucher redemption will take place exclusively online. The tickets are available on mobile devices and allow contactless access. This means that all trade fair participants are registered in advance and authorised for access. By registering, we ensure that the public health department can quickly perform contact tracing in the event of a coronavirus infection. This form of ticketing is an essential part of our efforts to manage and control the density of people within an event.
|
Our exhibitors are required to separately record the contact information of conversation partners (for conversations without face covering). NürnbergMesse is providing exhibitors with LeadSuccess, a lead tracking system, for this purpose.
|
For your safety, we will regularly clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces (e.g. tables, handrails, door handles) as well as our sanitary facilities at more frequent intervals. You will find hand washing and disinfection facilities designed with social distancing in mind at all important places on the grounds.
|
Our exhibition venue is equipped with an innovative digital navigation and information system. This enables us to disseminate information accurately, control visitor flows, and provide information on up-to-date regulations.

NürnbergMesse has optimized its powerful ventilation systems in accordance with the recommendations of the relevant industry associations. The ventilation systems run with a significantly increased proportion of external air of up to 100 percent and a longer operating time. In this way they actively contribute to reducing the risk of infection. The air exchange rate (air exchange per hour) is at least 6 in the halls and at least 10 in the conference rooms, which means that there is a complete exchange of room air about every five minutes. Events in the Nuremberg Exhibition Center thus have an open air quality.
The exhaust air ducts are located on the roof of the halls and thus not in the immediate vicinity of outdoor areas with public traffic (such as parking lots). They are arranged in such a way that the exhaust air escapes into the environment and cannot mix with the supply air.
Before being supplied into the halls or conference rooms, outdoor air is filtered. In doing so, germs and bacteria are removed. Also due to the filtration no droplets which could contain corona viruses are transported into the rooms. According to current knowledge, the transmission of corona viruses via ventilation or air conditioning systems can be virtually ruled out in this mode of operation. (Source:

The ventilation concept adds to the overall personal protective measures, such as the requirement to keep a distance and to wear a face mask, which are still valid.

Please use the option to pay contactless (e.g. parking areas, cloakroom service, restaurants, kiosks).

Our gastronomy service partner Lehrieder has created a comprehensive concept for hall gastronomy and stand catering that meets the legal requirements as well as the overarching rules of Bavarian gastronomy. All other caterers working at the fair are also obliged to comply with the requirements of the hygiene concept.
More information about catering at exhibition stands can be found

Qualified medical care is available on site at all times. The medical service is always present at events – from the set-up through the entire duration of the trade fair to dismantling. Medical emergencies are treated directly on site. If necessary, they are supported by the public emergency service.

3. Safety Advice
If you arrive by car: There are plenty of parking spaces available. Thanks to our systematically integrated parking space management system, we can respond dynamically to the respective requirements and in accordance with the situation and maintain social distancing guidelines for all parties involved.
If you arrive by plane or train or use public transport, you will find current information here:
If you travel by public transport, the current regulations for local public transport apply.

In order to offer you optimal conditions for your safety and health outside the exhibition venue, we are working closely with the Nuremberg Convention and Tourist Office. The hotels are required to comply with the currently valid hygiene and infection protection standards.
Detailed information on the respective concepts can be found on the hotel page:
