Height differences and climate loads lead to the formation of over- or underpressure in the insulating glass unit. The resulting tensions can cause glass breakage and premature ageing. SWISSPACER AIR counteracts these problems by balancing the pressure between the surrounding environment and the cavity between the panes. SWISSPACER AIR is installed by screwing the component quickly and easily into the spacer bar – alternatively, it can be installed in the hardened edge seal.
