Deceuninck lift and sliding doors at Fensterbau Frontale
Bogen, March 2020. Deceuninck will be presenting its solutions for bright, light-flooded rooms with large terrace doors at Fensterbau Frontale 2020: Lift and sliding doors from Deceuninck Germany GmbH guarantee an abundance of natural light, a modern room design and barrier-free access. And the quick installation kit makes for smooth and easy installation.
The lift and sliding door from Deceuninck has a sash depth of 76 mm and a total depth of 175 mm with an excellent thermal insulation value of Uf = 1.3 W/m2K. This shallow depth allows the use of a roller shutter system concealed beneath the plaster with maintenance from below.
The particularly narrow frame with a sightline of just 45 mm creates a modern design and also provides rooms with up to ten per cent more natural light. The frame can hold panes of glass up to 52 mm thick. The door is also very watertight and windtight. The sturdy, large steel reinforcement in the frame and sash makes it especially robust. Room-high elements with a maximum size of 6.50 x 2.60 m are possible.
Deceuninck lift and sliding doors can be installed in new houses with a PVC threshold and in existing buildings with an aluminium threshold. Barrier-free access is ensured by the use of a low threshold of less than 20 mm in new buildings. In addition to being easy to operate, another advantage of the lift and sliding doors is the option of motorising them or operating them by remote control.
Deceuninck has developed a quick installation kit for lift and sliding doors for quicker and easier installation on building sites. This quick installation kit not only helps contractors comply with regulations relating to manual handling of loads, but is also an enormous relief for installers. It also simplifies the entire process of installing lift and sliding doors, from transport, through delivery to installation. The elements are delivered to the building site dismantled and can be easily assembled on site by two installers.
To fulfil the requests of many customers, Deceuninck lift and sliding doors are available in a wide range of colours that suppliers have in stock and, optionally, also with aluminium capping.
