With the development of our smallest flexible brush strip Mink offers an optimal alternative to existing solutions e.g. textile brush strip. The bristle bundles provide a long lasting and stable sealing brush body, which even under constant pressure and also when supplied with a high bristle height, neither wears down or loses its shape. Matting of the brush body is avoided!
The world’s market leaders in door and gate manufacture have greeted this flexible solution with great enthusiasm. Alternatives such as rubber seals have not achieved the desired effect. Rubber becomes brittle after a time and has the disadvantage of high friction resistance. By using the Mink Mini-FBL you can reduce this resistance to a minimum. Furthermore the smooth running of the doors will not deteriorate. Through a dampening effect of the bristles, noise will be reduced to a minimum. Other advantages are quick and easy assembly and excellent resistance to the damaging effects of bad weather, for example a much smaller risk of freezing as found with textile alternatives. There is also reliable sealing against dirt and dust.
The Mink Mini-FBL can be fitted in round, oval, contoured or right-angled areas – whether axial or radial.
The UV-resistant and long lasting Mink Mini-FBL brush body can be integrated into all common groove sizes. The standard and extremely competitively priced strip brush is supplied on coils, which are easy to handle and can save on storage space. As the exact length required is cut from a larger reusable roll unnecessary material loss is then avoided.
