The evolution of the wood/aluminium systems

The research and development hard work brought to life two projects, both with a minimalist visual approach, the maximization of the glass surface, combined with easiness in assembling and high thermal performances.

In order to attain these goals, Europrofili Group’s R&D team worked on the reduction of the window sections and of the wooden frame sash, so to increase the glass surface thus enabling to make the sash “disappear”.

The first system, named EVO 1.8, proves itself to match the newest performance and design needs.

The second system, named ET680 LIFE, comes with its characteristics of an innovative assembling system of the aluminium profiles, which cover the wood frame.

Both these systems represent, among the entire wood/aluminium range, the highest expression of minimalism in contemporary architecture.

This can be found in the linear shapes, with the sash hiding behind the frame’s profile, allowing the window to have a neat look, by increasing at the same time the air-light surface.

These systems are paramount players in a steadily evolving market, which demands more and more minimalist visual approach coupled with high functional performances.

SPRINT is the wood/aluminium system by Europrofili Group, which recreates the design of the classical wooden windows.

SPRINT gives to the window a fine 90° angle cut in the corners, making it suitable for fitting both in brand new buildings and historical ones.

There’s a wide range of finishings which can be created to highlight the product’s shape; moreover, its hidden gasket between sash and frame won’t have the slightest visual impact on the overall look.

The SPRINT system patented by Europrofili Group brings to the fixtures field new and important features, such as:
