Apartments, houses, alarm systems or safes can be individually secured and opened using ekey home.ekey home is a stand-alone solution which consists of a control panel as well as a finger scanner. While the former is used to record and delete users, the latter is used to capture the fingerprints and convert them into a code. A computer is not necessary for the system administration. Up to 99 different fingerprints can be stored by the system and are then authorized to open doors, gates or safes. From the scanned fingerprint, special features of the fingerprint “minutiae” are located, manipulated, and stored or compared as an electronic key code template that uniquely identifies the scanned finger. No image is stored, only an encrypted binary code template that cannot be reversed or used to reconstruct the original fingerprint image. Upon positive authentication, the door strike is activated via a relay output.

The ekey integra is a thin and elegant biometric reader that can be flush-mounted in a small opening in a door or door frame or directly into an intercom. Keys, codes, cards, etc. are no longer needed or required for daily access. The integra scanner can be mounted on different media and can be dressed to give it various looks to match own decor.The advantages are literally at hand: From now on you will always have your keys with you. A computer is needed for enrollment, management, startup, and performing certain functions. The software is used to define in the central database all the access and authorization rights such as who has access to a specific door or group of doors and for specific time periods. ekey net can report various activity information in real-time using a log CSV file, web server log, or UDP interface. Each control panel is equipped with several relay outputs. Each enrolled finger can then be assigned one of several functions. So the same user can perform different access functions by using different fingers to activate different relays. ekey net is available for 40 users (terminal version S), 200 users (terminal version M) and 2.000 users (terminal version L).

Thanks to the Fingerscan 2.0 door handle, you can now open entrance doors easily and securely with just one finger swipe. Conventional access control solutions such as keys, cards, or codes can now be replaced by this innovative solution. The traditional FSB round handle versions will be supplied with an integrated ekey finger scanner, mounted on the rear side of the door handle. On the front side, just a single LED alludes to all the electronics behind. The fingerscan door handles may manage up to 99 fingers for private users, and can also be used in companies as a network solution called ekey net.
