Minimal design meets the best performances! High weight load up to 150 kg, minimum gap, wide adjustments and easy installation of the sash on-site are the noticeable characteristics which distinguish the invisible hinges ARTECH PLANA. They are suitable for tilt&turn windows and doors in wood and PVC.

IMAGO is a revolutionary product because it contains the heritage of CLIMATECH but it stands out for the incredible design, completely made in wood.

A leitmotiv has always guided the designer creativity, the architect Matteo Grotto said: “I accepted no compromise: the frame and the visual elements had to disappear, but providing to have the best performance”.

In fact, IMAGO uses the CLIMATECH threshold, made by fiberglass, coming from an innovative research. CLIMATECH is the most advanced technology regarding the heat transmittance and the strength against the atmospheric agents.

IMAGO performances are the best ever: the water tightness is up to 9A, the air permeability is up to 4, the wind load is up to B3, the impact resistance is up to 1 and the heat transmittance is up to 0,69.

But performances are just the starting point. The IMAGO best feature that attracts more is the lack of jambs and transoms. The fixed sash becomes a big glass wall with an essential and almost invisible frame.

A dedicated products range completes the project: a new embedded top guide improves the appearance of this Lift&Slide and simplifies the sash mounting, plus the new compensating caps kit and the UNI-V central point. This is the newest of AGB central points’ range and it offers wide milling tolerances, compensates for the natural deformation of wood and removes the after-sales works linked to the Lift&Slide disease.

Thanks to the UNI-V and the top locking profile, keeping open the Lift & Slide, there is no contact point between the sash and the frame. What’s the result? The sash movement is completely free and gives an incredible sensation of lightness when you slide it.

At the base of this revolutionary product there is just simplicity, both in design and in the productive method.

The system is realized using the same milling cutter of every AGB Lift&Slide, mixing in a new way new elements and current processes. Thanks to the processing steps analysis, AGB guarantees production prices in comparison to the traditional CLIMATECH Lift&Slide.

We opened the door to the finest design research. The lock forend is essential thanks to the magnetic movement latch that disappears just opening the sash.

Thanks to the Twin lock system, the lock guarantees extreme silence when the door closes and protects the security of the room. The magnetic movement latch comes out when the sash leans against the frame and the automatic bolt is activated ensuring the maximum security to the guest who can forget to lock the door.

The privacy button ‘Do not disturb’ allows the guests to sleep till late morning. When the function is on, the staff can’t enter the room.

With the antipanic lock, from inside the room, the bolt and the spring latch are instantly released by simply lowering the handle for the immediate door opening.

In case of emergency, you can unlock the door using the mechanic cylinder. It guarantees the manual door opening.

The Opera Bit system is available in 2 versions: Sprint and Full. The Sprint version is suitable for the small hotels and B&B and requires the simple use of special cards; the Full version needs a software for check-in and check-out of guests and cards creation.

The software is compatible with all the operating systems and it’s interfaceable with applications of third parts (management software and automation systems of the room). The module is provided by a user-friendly interface and it can be easily used even by personnel without any Information&Technology competence.

AGB expands the hinges range introducing R4, the new hinge for wooden entrance doors, result of the company values.

Innovation and technology bring to the main features of the hinge: R4 answers to the market trends because it is applicable to doors weight up to 160 kg.

Wide adjustments in three dimensions are essential for hinges of this category, but R4 is long-lasting too. This is important because extends the duration of maintenance.

But R4 is one step ahead. The new hinge for entrance doors offers also the friction adjustment which avoids the wrongly installed doors to close by themselves.

The AGB experience allowed to control every aspect of R4. Designing this new hinge, the company wanted to make R4 intuitive, easy and fast to be installed: the millings are easy, the installation of the door is simplified thanks to two pins, the handy set screws allow the hinge adjustment even when the door is closed.

The installation could be done with CNC machines or manually, using some dedicated jigs.

R4 has been designed according with the European regulations on security. Tests on resistance have been successfully passed: 200.000 cycles with a 100 kg weight.

The anti-burglar features of R4 make this new hinge suitable for external opening because the grubs are easily accessible only when the door is open.

R4 is an expanding range: the hinge is available in two models and it is suitable for the main profiles available in the market. It is compatible with rebated entrance doors of many sections, with different gasket types. But not only, the company is designing new sections in order to satisfy every market request.

The hinge is available with 20mm diameter to intensify the strength feeling of wooden balcony doors. The hinge body is embedded both in sash and frame parts to guarantee the stability of heavy doors, up to 160 kg capacity!

AGB means design: the attention to details is one of the hinge key factors. The hinge is available in the most common colours but a new range of finishes can be personalized on request.
