By monitoring the inside and outside changing conditions, exploiting the cool air outside, UCS controls the increase of temperature or CO2 level inside. Should the weather suddenly change, with showers or gusts of wind, the windows will automatically close to protect the building and interior from damage.

Smoke extraction, activated through a special, totally secure emergency channel, ensures that windows, skylights and air-intake panels are automatically opened to create an air flow and evacuate heat and smoke from the building, in conformity to international standards.
