SJ MEPLA is the technologically leading program for dimensioning and calculating the stress on multi-layer glazing or panels. The dimensioning and stress calculation of plate structures under widely varying conditions are standard tasks in routine engineering work. A special challenge is frequently presented by geometrical configurations which deviate from a rectangular shape. They are no longer calculated using tables or rules of thumb, but rather using the finite element method. With this method you carry out the calculations with SJ MEPLA on multi-layer glazing (e.g. laminated safety glass) in a trice, even when the glass units are, for example, hexagonal or round. Various types of support are available and face, linear and climatic loads are included for the practically orientated investigation of the effects of the loads. This includes stress simulation due to pressure shock and pendulum impact.
SJ MEPLA is simple in use and easy to learn. The results of the investigations are available graphically and in log form, clearly laid out and convincing. It is possible to produce an additional log of all loading cases with proof according to the standards DIN 18008 and TRLV.
