Inoutic is adding a Venetian blinds solution for PROtex and Storbox 2.0 for France to its roller shutter range
Inoutic is one of the few window profile fabricators to have for many years offered a complete roller shutter system. PROtex is available as both concealed and wall-mounted versions in five different box sizes. An integrable Venetian blinds system is a new feature. Another addition to the range is the Storbox system for the French market, which has undergone a complete technical overhaul and is now setting standards - in terms of both thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as simplified and efficient installation.
PROtex with Venetian blinds solution
The current trend is for buildings with a lot of glass and open areas. However, privacy doesn't have to be sacrificed if you use Venetian blinds, the elegant alternative to roller shutters. The new Venetian blinds solution for the PROtex roller shutter system in size V is compatible with all popular Venetian blinds. The attachment element can be optionally fitted with roller shutter slats or a Venetian blind. The box forms a compact unit with the window and blends harmoniously into the façade. The 120 mm opening enables slats up to 80 mm wide to be used.
"An architectural tone can be set with modern Venetian blinds, without having to sacrifice energy-efficient living", explains head of product management Jörg Hofmann. Compact thermal insulation means that the heat transfer coefficient Usb and the temperature factor fRsi required by the building regulation list are achieved with no problem.
The Venetian blinds solution can be installed either concealed or as a wall-mounted roller shutter box. The baseboard is integrated directly in the box and thereby eliminates an additional work step. The already present roller shutter guide rails guide the Venetian blinds. The large L-shaped box profile also provides maximum box stability.
Right away, the first installation will show how easy PROtex is to mount. A clip adapter enables the attachment element to be mounted both quickly and easily. The inspection cover can be fitted without screws. Stable mounting on the masonry is ensured by an integrated groove in the upper horizontal area that allows wall anchors to be used. The roller shutter systems can also be fitted with electric motors or a crank mechanism. An optional fly screen can also be retrofitted quickly and easily.
The great variety of the Inoutic colour system offers scope for individual design. 142 more lamination colours are available within just ten calendar days in addition to the nine standard colours made to stock.
"The challenge to us was to make assembly quicker and easier, and at the same time achieve maximum airtightness", is how Jörg Hofmann describes the demands placed on the new system. "We succeeded in achieving screwless assembly by using PVC clips in the console. This substantially reduces assembly time." Mechanically pre-punched holes in the profiles guarantee problem-free assembly. This means that mounting can be automated.
An innovative framed gasket around the internal console makes the roller shutter box completely airtight. The foam gasket is supplied straight from the factory and eliminates the need for additional sealing. All box profiles also have sealing strips. Openings for the belt and crank are additionally sealed with special components.
Outstanding soundproofing values of up to 57 dB are achieved thanks to solid base profiles and the airtight construction. A snap-on fixed profile enables lengths of up to 3 m to be realised.
The internal console means that a configuration as a renovation box is also possible without any additional complicated sealing.
The system with a coil diameter of 155 to 180 mm is now available in 2 sizes.
