TECAUMA’s window glazing robot makes it possible to automatically fit glasses into a window opening frame or into a complete window.
TECAUMA’s glazing robot grips glasses directly from a pallet, a rack or a conveyor. The glass pallets are managed and controlled automatically. The robot controls the exact position of the frame thanks to a 3D vision technology. It also controls the size of the glass to check that it matches the window frame. Then the robot grips the glass and fits it automatically into the frame.
TECAUMA has experienced the implementation of a glazing robot for window sashes, which fits the glasses into a window sash. Thanks to this experience, TECAUMA now developed a solution to fit the glasses directly into the sash mounted on the window frame. TECAUMA used 3D vision technology in other robotic applications. In this case, the use of 3D vision makes it possible to check the exact position of the frame to fit the glass correctly.
TECAUMA imagined a “window glazing line of the future”, including 3 robots with automated gluing and fitting of the glass into the window frame, and automated fitting of the glazing beads for PVC windows.
TECAUMA’s glazing robot will be demonstrated on FENSTERBAU : hall 3, booth 356.
