Winkhaus technology for windows and doors at fensterbau/frontale 2016
At the fensterbau/frontale 2016 international trade fair, there are many practical and user-oriented solutions for window and door technology awaiting visitors at the Winkhaus stand 4-243 in Hall 4. A highlight of the presentation is the new aluPilot fitting system.
Additional emphases include: healthy living climate and living comfort, security, barrier-free construction and smart homes. Winkhaus is also focussing its attention on large-format and design windows.
New for aluminium windows
The aluPilot turn and tilt/turn fitting complete the comprehensive assortment of high-quality Winkhaus window fittings. The new fitting system accelerates the assembly of aluminium windows by around 10 minutes.
aluPilot is suitable for a wide range of window versions, including rectangular shapes, double-sash windows and burglary-resistant windows with a protection rating up to class RC3. The aluPilot Topstar concealed variant is compatible with heavy windows weighing up to 170 kg. aluPilot Concept surface-mounted fittings can accommodate sash weights of up to 130 kg. The new fittings are exclusively available through system integrators.
Now aluminium windows can also be “opelosed”. Until now, activPilot Comfort, the fitting system for efficient, draught-free and natural ventilation was only designed for windows made of PVC-U and wood. Now Winkhaus has expanded the system.
Product assortment expanded and enhanced
There is also good news for wooden window professionals. With the activPilot Topstar concealed fitting for flush-mounted windows, burglary resistance classes up to RC2 can now be achieved.
In addition, Winkhaus has expanded the offering for barrier-free construction elements. With activPilot Select, window doors for balconies and terraces can now be installed for barrier-free compatibility.
Door technology for national and international markets
A new tappet contact for the popular blueMatic EAV3 power security lock is drawing attention in Nuremberg. The 3-pin component provides power and simplifies on-site installation of the door. Unlike earlier systems, the tappet contact works without a cable transition.
Winkhaus is presenting a panic lock solution based on an aluminium double-sash door. It demonstrates how a full panic release of both sashes works with panicLock AP3.
Winkhaus has also developed a new shootbolt keep rail with convenient one-hand operation for double-sash doors.
Smart access technology for house and apartment doors
An innovation in the area of access control will also be celebrating its premier in Nuremberg: Winkhaus is presenting the new keyTec N-tra mechanical turnkey locking system before a large audience for the first time. The patented technology is practical, smooth-running and locks reliably. Therefore, it especially satisfies the requirements for locking systems in private and small business applications.
Private households with an affinity for technology and small companies will be thrilled with Winkhaus blueCompact. The innovative technology finally offers intelligent access control for small units. blueCompact can be easily configured via app, is easy to install and has an attractive design.
Close at hand: Live TV at the stand
Like in the past years, Winkhaus TV will be reporting live from the stand. Topics vary from practice-oriented reports from various professional circles and current statements from industry experts to the broadcast of live demos. This includes, for instance, window assembly with aluPilot and activPilot Sprint, equipping a window to RC2 and retrofitting a window with a fitting for opelosing.
The integration of Winkhaus wireless contacts in smart home systems will also be presented and broadcast live. The Winkhaus wireless contacts can be easily networked with other intelligent systems. They can be integrated into alarm monitoring, lighting control and heating control.
