For many decades now, Heinrich König & Co. KG as a medium-sized company has developed, manufactured and distributed high-quality products for the repair and maintenance of surfaces made from wood, plastic, stone and metal bearing the “Made in Germany” seal of quality. The product range comprises different kinds of fillers, touch-up materials like pens and dyes up to Sprüh-König® lacquers as well as maintenance and cleaning products.
Now, the in-house R&D department has developed together with our technical department a new talent: IF-139, the new filler for the ideal repair of flaws during industrial production. It can be used on solid wood and veneer, wooden composite, chipboards, MDF and plastics.
The new Industrial Filler from König is optimally adapted to the requirements in the production process. It captivates by a rapid melting phase and a very short cooling time. Further advantages are the low processing temperatures, the high density and the strong compound the filler forms with different materials. Furthermore, it is possible to achieve a super matte finish which normally is hardly attainable. After application, the filler, of course, can be further processed and even varnished. For example, machine sanding, cutting, planing, milling, brushing and drilling as well as varnishing with NC lacquer, 2C lacquer, waterbased lacquer or UV lacquer is possible. Also staining and waxing as well as subsequent oiling is possible. Last but not least, the filler does not have an unpleasant odour and of course is resistant against heat, cold and moisture and thus suitable for outdoor use.
The Industrial Filler from König is available as granules in a 25 kg sack and also as melt sticks of 11 mm diameter and 30 cm length. At the moment there are five different colours available: For granules Basis Grey, Light Brown, Dark Brown and Black – colour White only available on request. Sticks are available in Light Brown, Dark Brown, Black and White.
Matthias Grieshaber, Managing Director of Heinrich König & Co. KG, Niederdorfelden:
“Well, we have not re-invented the wheel – of course comparable products exist already. But the IF-139 impresses by its extremely good adhesion and its multiple capabilities for further processing – even staining and subsequent oiling is possible.”
Wolly Pauls, Strategic Purchaser of “SOMAform” Sonnberger GmbH, Marienfeld:
“Due to special requirements during the manufacture of our moulded parts, we recently have started to use the new filler IF-139 in our production. It completely fulfills our requirements: The IF-139 resists even very high mechanical stress and ensures process reliability for further treatment.”
Josef Tapken, Proprietor Tapken Carpentry, Garrel:
“With great satisfaction we use the IF-139 during the manufacture of solid wood stairs. Especially the possibilities of further treatment like staining, varnishing, sanding and brushing have convinced us.”
