A Wheel of Fortune on Wheels – The Clever Innovation for the Window Industry
Sometimes the wheel can still be reinvented. The workshop wagon “CGMATIC 28” is an extremely smart invention for the window industry: The now patented “CGMATIC 28” looks a little like a wheel of fortune on wheels – and those who use it can count themselves really lucky. Why?
No question, today more and more windows and doors are manufactured in different colours and decors. Meanwhile the ratio of colours covers more than 50 percent. Furthermore, PVC is the winner especially in the field of window construction, as with these profiles windows can be built complying with the ever increasing energy-saving regulations in future and at the same time, any wood decor you like can be used. And, even if there are always new ideas in production, especially for the assembly of window profiles (infrared welding process, toothing etc.), lacquer pens have been used for decades to colour weld grooves and mitre joints.
Perfectly matched to profiles and decors, Heinrich König manufactures high-quality lacquer pens named “PREMIUM Window Pen”. Those pens impress by their optimized tip and the top lacquer quality: fast- drying, wipe-resistant, scratch-proof and overcoatable. Furthermore, “ift Rosenheim” attests the PREMIUM Window Pen weather-resistance according to EN513/ISO4892-2 (test number 12-001800-PR02), which is also requested by RAL GZ 716/1. In order to make use of the advantages of the lacquer pen even better than in the past, the innovation “CGMATIC 28” comes into play.
The “CGMATIC 28” is a mobile unit and always there wherever it is needed. Thanks to its size, the wagon can stand at every workplace. In the upper area, the wagon is fitted with 28 lacquer pens on a turning device, at the bottom there are compartments for further pens and work materials. The pens are well shaken up by means of the turning device of the “CGMATIC 28” and are kept at an optimum processing temperature of about 23°C. As a result of this, the pens are best prepared for use – even in the coolest workshop hall. Also, shaking up the pen for approx. 30 seconds is no longer necessary. The user removes the desired pen and can start with the application immediately – with best results, as a continuous and even lacquer flow ensures an ideal application. Also, the colour is absolutely homogeneous during application. Thus, complaints with regard to an uneven colour picture are now a thing of the past. Although the “CGMATIC 28” looks like a fortune wheel, the results it provides together with the “PREMIUM Window Pen” are far from being a matter of luck.
Clemens Geuken, Managing Partner of CGMATIC Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG, Aschendorf:
“The wagon has already proven its versatile usability during numerous practical tests. Perfect working, higher efficiency and far fewer complaints are advantages, which have been attested to the wagon. Now, we are happy, to have found a competent partner with Heinrich König & Co. KG.”
Matthias Grieshaber, Managing Director of Heinrich König & Co. KG, Niederdorfelden:
“The new workshop wagon is an ideal complement to the “PREMIUM Window Pen”. I would express it like this: With the “CGMATIC 28”, the lacquer pen now can fully develop its qualities which will convince many window constructors.”
