Basic information and equipment
Scandinavian windows COMBI ALU+ differ from typical European windows in that they are opened to the outside. Such constructional solution significantly increases functionality of the windows. First of all, it is a result of adjusting to the requirements of harsh, Scandinavian climate, where windows are exposed to flurries of gusting wind. This solution uses the wind force to increase the sash pressure against the frame, which increases tightness of the window. The structure of the Scandinavian windows is also a perfect solution for small rooms, allowing to freely open the windows and to develop the area around them, without the need of opening the curtains or moving items on the sill before opening the window.
The COMBI ALU+ windows are provided with energy-saving triple glazing package, with low-emission glass and argon filled space between the panes. The overall heat transfer coefficient for the entire window is Uw=1,02 W/m2K.
