On the one hand, the fixture technique of the steel curtain wall system makes it possible to freely choose from standard steel profiles, and thus provides nearly limitless varieties. On the other hand, the particular set-on-top construction features an optimal protection from corrosion since in this way no components end up lying surface to surface.
The system S-I for all curtain walls and glass roofs with an inclination of up to 2°, with standard steel profiles from 50 mm width. The stainless steel basic profiles are available with rolled-in factory-made aluminium screwing channel, or to be inserted later in case of galvanizing. Three types for the suitable interior gasket are available:
Type S with lateral guide by means of a clip-on plastic guiding profile
Type L with lateral guide and lip for huge radiuses of steel Tubes
Type D for positioning of the gasket directly onto the steel support profile
In addition to the set-on-top construction, also T-form steel profiles are available with an elevation width of 60 mm and a
depth of 60, 90, or 120 mm. More custom-made profiles upon inquiry.

With its specific material properties, steel offers an extremely rich variety of forms and thus an extraordinary range of
creative possibilities. The unique patented fixture principle of the THERM+ steel curtain wall system with its aluminium and stainless steel screwing channel has been developed from real-life requirements, in order to extend the richness in possible applications without limits to glass façades and, at the same time, to reach a maximal degree of protection against corrosion. With the help of the constructive safety distance of 3 mm between the steel support profile and the system basis profile, optimal corrosive prevention is achieved because the construction components’ lying surface to surface is avoided. The steel curtain wall system is also ideally suited to zincplated constructions in swimming pools and close-to-coast buildings. The welding profile has been officially approved by building control authorities, and has been tested successfully with heavy vertical loads of up to 800 kg.
